Pakistan Association Dubai praised Khan for regularly participating in community events led by the organisation during his three years in office.
Pakistan Association Dubai ad-hoc committee chairman Rizwan Fancy thanked Khan for supporting the organisation’s various activities and said his “last-minute acceptance [of the farewell event] is proof of his commitment towards PAD.”
Khan thanked the association for the dinner and expressed hope that the Pakistan embassy would continue to support the association. “I have always seen a positive picture of PAD whenever I was sitting in the official gatherings of UAE government,” he said.
Referring to community initiatives at the Pakistani consulate in Dubai, he said the paperwork has been completed for a hall that can accommodate 600 people. Visitors to the consulate had previously complained about having to wait outdoors in the heat.
